I hope you’ve been reflecting on what it means to not just hear God’s call, but to actually step out and do what He’s asking of you.
Last Sunday, we dug into James 1 and talked about the difference between merely listening to God’s Word and actually living it out. We saw how easy it is to look in the mirror of Scripture, see what needs to change, and then walk away forgetting what we saw. But God calls us to respond—to take those next steps of obedience, even when we don’t see the whole picture or understand where it will lead. Whether you’re just starting out in faith, feeling stuck, or growing in maturity, God has a specific call for you, and He’s faithful to complete the work He’s begun in you.
So here’s the challenge: don’t put God’s call on “Do Not Disturb.”
Your obedience could be the key to your growth, your healing, or even the way God moves in someone else’s life. God is still calling, and He’s waiting for your “yes.”
