Walking Forward Together

    From Pastor Matt:

This past Sunday, we began an open and important conversation about something that could shape the next chapter of our church’s story. It’s a conversation that’s been growing quietly in prayer and discernment for quite some time — and now it’s one we get to walk through together.

Over the past year, I’ve been praying for something that only God could do — something bigger than our own plans or comfort zones. And on Sunday, we took the first step toward exploring what that could look like: a potential partnership — extending an invitation to join our family— with another local church family who shares our heart for Jesus and for our community.

Let’s be clear: nothing has been decided. We are still in conversation, listening carefully to God’s leading and to one another. What matters most right now is that we stay open, prayerful, and united as we discern what’s best for God’s Kingdom, not just for one congregation or another.

I know change can stir up questions — and that’s okay. Questions mean we care. My promise to you is that we will walk this process with transparency, humility, and faith. I’m asking you to continue to trust the same God who’s brought us this far and to trust the relationships that have been built here over the years. God has proven Himself faithful again and again — and I believe He’s not done writing our story.

In the weeks ahead, we’ll share updates as conversations continue. In the meantime, I’m asking three things of you:

    1. Pray. Ask God to give wisdom, clarity, and unity — for both churches, for both leadership teams, and for everyone involved.

    2. Stay engaged. Keep showing up, keep serving, keep listening. God does His best work when His people stay faithful.

    3. Hope forward. However the details unfold, we believe something good is ahead — something that will allow us to reach more people and welcome even more families home.

Thank you for trusting, for praying, and for believing that Only God can write stories like these. Let’s keep walking this road together — one step, one prayer, one “yes” at a time.
